This project is located between the two wings of a castle on a listed site. The proposed building, which is embedded in the ground, constitutes a belvedere on the park and the lower city. Architecture and landscape are as one here. The intervention respects the extant historical site while adding a functionality that restores the sectional fluidity of the castle. The future school will take up both the castle and this addition. As for the contemporary belvedere, it expands the courtyard. The project definitively breaks with the binary notion form/function.
