This is the inaugural exhibition of the Rodin Museum chapel, the transformation of which we have just completed. The exhibition bathes in natural light; remote-controlled filters allow for the altering of the sun’s rays. Inside lies a reconstitution of the base created for The Burghers of Calais, requested by Rodin so to verify its general visual effect. This exhibition includes exceptional works by Brancusi, Giacometti, and Louise Bourgeois, and places them in comparison with the enormity of Rodin’s research.
