Enhancement of uncovered archaeological fortifications. Creation of mini-programs inspired by this initiative (minor structures, public housing, parking lots). Pedestrian zones throughout the city from the parking lots, creation of a walking circuit from fortification to fortification so to better understand the history of the successive fortifications. Creation and development of the idea of Avesnes sur Helpe as a city of art and of history.
